Can we design the next Blue Zone on purpose?
The traditional Blue Zones were identified after generations of behavior, culture and place produced unusually long and healthy lives. Ashley’s question is different: can a modern American mountain community intentionally create the conditions that make health, connection, purpose and movement easier for everyone?
NARRATIVE FRAME
The guiding principles
This is a 25-year mission, not a marketing designation.
Argentis is one contributor and platform, not the whole community
The work must extend beyond affluent early adopters to community-wide health, connection and access.
Progress should be reported through transparent projects, partnerships and measurable indicators.
The language should distinguish aspiration from any official Blue Zone certification or designation.
